Alging S.L. 2013an sortu zen eta bere oinarri kontzeptual eta metodologikoak Estatu Batuetan egin ziren ikerketa eta analisietatik jaso zituen. Ikerketa hauek, zehazki, Kaliforniako Unibertsitate Teknologia Institutuak (CalPoly) Paradigm Biological International (PBI) elkarteari eginikoak izan ziren. Konpainia honen helburua berotegi-efektua eragiten duten gasen (BEG) deskontaminazioa izan zen, batez ere jatorri industrialeko CO<span style=\"font-size: 12px; line-height: 0; position: relative; vertical-align: baseline; bottom: -0.25em;\">2<\/span>&nbsp;eta NO<span style=\"font-size: 12px; line-height: 0; position: relative; vertical-align: baseline; bottom: -0.25em;\">X<\/span>&nbsp;gasena. Gas naturalarekin mugitzen ziren energia elektrikoaren ekoizpenerako (20 MW) zentralak izan ziren hasierako eredu.<\/p>\n<p>PBIk bere jarduera 2011an utzi zuen eta Bromalgaek proiektua Europan
